The Spicy First Look

As a Boudoir Photographer, I usually don't have much to do with weddings. However, every once in a while, I get to be a part of something extraordinary that transcends the boundaries of a traditional Boudoir Shoot.

I would like to introduce you to one of the beautiful people, I've recently had the pleasure of photographing - Tash! At the beginning of Tash's Boudoir Experience, she reached out to me with a unique request.

Tash had a plan—a plan that was both perfect AND a little spicy. She wanted to book a Boudoir Experience and then gift her soon-to-be husband, Mat, her album on their wedding day. Her album that would not only serve as a unique wedding present but also as an ice breaker for any wedding day jitters. Of course I couldn't resist being a part of this plan. Not only do I LOVE a good secret surprise, I was absolutely touched by the sentiment behind this idea and couldn't wait to bring her vision to life.

Tash's Boudoir Shoot was not just about capturing her sensuality; it was about embracing her confidence, celebrating herself and her love for Mat. The shoot was an intimate experience, a celebration of love, and a perfect prelude to their wedding.

When the day arrived. Tash chose their First Look as the moment to surprise Mat with her gift. It was a bold move, but one that I'm sure distracted Mat from any nervousness he was feeling. As she revealed the album, the moment was captured beautifully by their talented wedding photographer, Laura from Girl & The Wolf Photography.

The look of surprise and delight on Mat's face was priceless. It was a moment that perfectly encapsulated the essence of their love - playful & intimate. The album, customised to match their wedding colours and with a personalised cover aptly engraved with "To My Husband", became an unforgettable part of their wedding day, a secret shared only between the two of them.

I am honoured and humbled that Leaf & Lace was able to be a part of this special day. It's a reminder that Boudoir knows no boundaries, and every moment, whether big or small, is an opportunity to celebrate. As a Boudoir Photographer, I may not be a regular vendor at weddings, but Mat and Tash's unique love story will always hold a special place in my heart.
