It’s very clear, when you work with Shelby, that she does what she does with ‘Leaf & Lace’ because she is passionate about seeing women love themselves. At our shoot, she would get so excited about the artistic elements of a shot, but would light up even more when she knew I loved the piccys just as much. And love them I do!
I did this photoshoot because I was struggling to feel feminine and sexy when I looked at my body. I have a great confidence in what my body can do and how it can perform as a competitive athlete, because I’m great at drawing on my own masculine energy. But I was neglecting to nurture my feminine side, and I missed that part of me. So this shoot was a kind of awakening for me. I’m so grateful to Shelby for inspiring so many confident moments on that day that I now get to keep for myself and draw on when self love feels tough.
I truly love every image she captured of me in my photoshoot and I recommend Shelby and her passion project to anyone who would also love to embrace their feminine energy and feel sexy AF!
